Doing things that matter

Updated: Apr 28, 2020

Quarantine and Business Productivity.

The last 2 months have been the biggest disruptor in recent history. We have never been tested at this scale, given the physical danger to our loved ones, this period has also given all of you a lot of time on hand. Keeping ourselves gainfully occupied can help us in managing our mental wellness.

For businesses this is an unproductive time, but there are few things you can do to spend this doing things that otherwise take a back burner.

Reach out to potential customers

When you reach out to people, be sensitive towards their well-being in the conversation.

This may not be the best time to get new business but an apt time to connect because:

  • People are more willing give you time to hear your solution

  • They want to make sure that they are in the best position to do well when things open up as the entire competition will be vying for the same customers.

  • They are happy to give you time to explain their business challenges

  • Share their learnings

Being better prepared

  • Improve your offerings and make them more relevant – do the website upgrade that you have been postponing or create that content which you haven’t had time for

  • Learn skills that will help the business to recover and grow faster

  • Develop tool that will help you and businesses be more efficient

  • Talk to existing clients

    • Prepare for post lockdown period

    • Learn from past and optimize
